The model/actress was first offered a role after being spotted by a talent scout at a costume party.[9] During the years of 2014-17, the television series Black Sails was filmed in South Africa, the award-winning series brought added fame to her career, and Paget herself received particular praise for her role as Anne Bonny, a fictionalised representation of the historical female pirate.[10]

As well as working on screen, the actress also has done modelling jobs during her career, including working for Burberry in 2016,[4][11] and has been interviewed by various magazines such as and Sheer, Vanity Fair (magazine) and Tatler to name a few.[12][13][14] As well as numerous fashion magazine appearances for British Vogue and Vogue Italia websites.[15][16][17][18]

Paget has established herself as a British It girl and is considered an A list celebrity,[19][20] she often attends award ceremonies, red carpet events,[21] and she's considered friends with fellow celebrities such as Cara Delevigne, Sienna Miller, and Jaime Winstone, to name a few.[22]

An eco friendly person, Paget is involved with the charity "Project 0".[23][24]
