Citadel (TV series)

Citadel is an upcoming American science fiction drama television series created by Patrick Moran and the Russo brothers for Amazon Prime Video. Starring Richard Madden as Citadel agent Mason Kane and Priyanka Chopra,[2] the show is described as an "action-packed spy series with a compelling emotional center" and "an expansive and groundbreaking global event comprising a mothership series and several local language satellite series".[3] It includes spinoffs set in Italy, India, Spain and Mexico.[2][4][5] Amazon explained: “All of the local series are meant to enhance the entire entertainment experience and will be available for the viewer to deep dive into an imagined layered world.”[6]

Starring alongside Madden and Chopra, Roland Møller will play Laszlo Milla, a lead operative of Citadel's rival intelligence agency, Manticore.[7]

The Indian series, starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be directed Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and produced by Amazon Studios.[8] The Italian series will be co-produced by Amazon Studios and Cattleya (Gomorra), part of ITV Studios.[9]

The main series is currently in post-production and is scheduled to stream TBD.
