Charlie Jowitt
Charlie Jowitt (born 1872) was an English footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He joined Liverpool F.C. as an amateur triallist from a local club called Liverpool Leek and never signed a contract at Liverpool. He made his lone first-team appearance in the penultimate match of the season, a 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday at Anfield on 3 April 1897.[1]
