Chantal Liew

Chantal Liew Li-Shan (born 9 August 1998) is a Singaporean national open water swimmer. In 2017, she won a SEA Games silver in a personal best of 2:21:30 in the women's 10 km open water swim held in Kuala Lumpur and became the first Singapore woman to win a medal in the event.[1][2][3] She is set to become the first Singaporean open water swimming athlete to participate at the Olympic Games after finishing 29th in the 10km race at FINA Olympic Marathon Swim Qualifier in Setubal, thereby qualifying for a place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.[4]
