Carlos Vermut

Carlos López del Rey (born 1980),[1] best known as Carlos Vermut, is a Spanish filmmaker. Born in Madrid, he worked as illustrator, comic book artist and storyboard designer prior to filmmaking.[1] He made his feature film debut in 2011 with Diamond Flash.[2] His second film Magical Girl (2014) earned critical acclaim.[1] He has since directed and written Who Will Sing to You (2018) and Mantícora, as well as penned together with Paco Plaza the screenplay of The Grandmother (2021).[3][4][5]
