Borscht Film Festival
The Borscht Film Festival is a semi-annual film festival held in Miami, Florida. The festival's mission is "to commission and showcase films by emerging artists that tell Miami stories going beyond the typical portrayal of a beautiful but vapid party town, forging the cinematic identity of the city."[1]

The Borscht Film Festival is a non-profit Miami-based organization dedicated to commissioning and showcasing films that tell Miami stories by young professional Miami artists.
Borscht is a local-driven art event that emerged in post-Art Basel Miami.[2] and "Miami's Best Film Festival."[3]
Some of Borscht's films have gone on to screen at Cannes Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and at the Guggenheim Museums in New York City, Bilbao, Venice, and Berlin.
History
The festival was founded by a group of New World School of the Arts students in 2004.[4]
