Mumbai Cricket Association

The Mumbai Cricket Association (BCA; formerly Bombay Cricket Association) is the governing body for cricket in Mumbai and its surrounding regions like Thane and Navi Mumbai.

The jurisdiction of MCA includes the area up to Dahanu in the Western Suburbs, Badlapur in the Central Suburbs, and Navi Mumbai up to Kharghar. The association comes under the west zone.

The Association was established in 1930 and it has a Constitution. Sharad Pawar was re-elected as the president of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) after defeating Vijay D Patil by a margin of 27 votes at the biennial elections held in Mumbai. Pawar defeated Patil 172-145 in a straight contest for MCA president. Vijay Patil has been elected as President of MCA on 4 October 2019.[1]

On 1 January 2022, MCA delayed all tournaments of it for COVID-19 cases.[2][3]
