Bombardier Innovia
Bombardier Innovia is a product line of fully automated and driverless transportation systems offered by Bombardier Transportation.[1] Originally Innovia only referred to the automated people mover technology acquired from Adtranz in 2001.[2] Innovia now refers to the following automated transit systems:
- Innovia Monorail - automated monorail system
- Innovia APM - automated people mover system
- Innovia Metro - medium-capacity automated metro system with linear induction motor technology acquired from the Urban Transportation Development Corporation (UTDC) in 1992.
These technologies, marketed for airport transportation and as urban public transit systems, are typically sold as part of a turnkey rail contract.
