Plot

Chakradhar is a sincere military officer. During a fierce war, he sacrifices the last glimpse of his mother when she dies to stay on the front. For his actions, he gets a Maha Vir Chakra. After the war, he falls in love with Vijaya, a lawyer, but instead marries a mentally challenged woman as an obligation towards his sister's marriage. Chakradar observes numerous bigshots in society engaging in corruption, but his efforts to exposed them in the courts only bring him humiliation and the deaths of his sister and brother-in-law by their goons. After being arrested on false charges, Chakradhar determines that these "internal enemies" should be dealt with the same way as external ones, and adopts a new persona - "Bobbili Puli", a vigilante who hunts down corrupt bigwigs and brings them to his own form of "justice". Eventually, he is caught and tried in the court, with Vijaya as a lawyer. Asking his name, she only gets "Bobbili Puli", leading to an exchange where he details how he changed faced with the societal failure to bring the oppressors their due and condemns the system for failing to provide justice. The court finds him guilty and orders his execution to the sorrow of Vijaya.
