Božidar Puretić
Božidar Puretić (1921 in Bjelovar – 1971 in Zagreb) was a Croatian physician. In 1962 he described a case of juvenile hyaline fibromatosis as a unique form of mesenchymal dysplasia.[1] This very rare disease had been first described by Dr. John Murray in 1873 and termed molluscum fibrosum.[2] No cases were subsequently reported and it had become almost forgotten before Puretić's case.[3]
