Balen Shah
Balendra Shah (Nepali: बालेन्द्र शाह) better known by his stage name Balen is a Nepali rapper,[1] structural engineer and politician who is an independent candidate running for mayor position in 2022 Kathmandu municipal election.[2][3][4][5][6] Balen is one of the well known rapper in Nepal, and also one of the most talked about candidates for the 2022 Kathmandu municipal election.[7] He is also one of the judges of hip-hop reality show Nephop Ko Shreepech.[8] He have chosen stick as his election symbol, he described that the stick can provide support to the elderly people, and at the same time it can be used to punish the corrupts too.[9][10]
