Backch@t
Backchat, stylised as Backch@t is a New Zealand arts and culture show that aired from 1998 until 2000 on TV2.[1][2][3][4] The show was hosted by Bill Ralston with movie reviews by Chris Knox.[5][6] It had won Best Lifestyle Programme at the New Zealand Film and Television Awards for all the years that it aired.[7][8][9] It also won Best Television Media Programme at the 1999 Qantas Media Awards.[10][11][12][13]

Background
The TV show was focused on the arts and culture with each episode focusing around a panel discussion, magazine segments, interview as well as topics with film, music and book reviews.[14][15]
Each episode was an hour long. The show was screened late on Sunday evenings at 10:30 pm.[16]
