Bílovice-Lutotín lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Prostějov, 19 km (12 mi) south-west of Olomouc, and 198 km (123 mi) east of Prague.

The municipality is made up of villages of Bílovice and Lutotín.
History
The first written mention of Lutotín is from 1141, in a deed of bishop Jindřich Zdík. The first written mention of Bílovice is from 1305.[2]
