Arthur Malabaguio

Arthur Oliveros Malabaguio (born January 10, 1965[3]) is a Filipino judge who is currently serving as Associate Justice of the Sandiganbayan.

Early life

Justice Malabaguio was born on January 10, 1965.[4] He graduated on Bachelor of Laws San Beda College (SBC) and passed the Bar in 1989. He took up Master of Arts in Development Education and Bachelor of Arts (AB) in Philosophy at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in 1985.

Prior to his appointment to the Sandiganbayan he was the Presiding Judge of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court branch 93.

Sandiganbayan

On May 20, 2021, Judge Malabaguio was picked by President Rodrigo Duterte to succeed Associate Justice Reynaldo Cruz who died of pneumonia on February 21, 2020[5].. His appointment papers was only transmitted by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea to Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo on March 3, 2022[6][7][8][9][10]
