Arroyito, Córdoba
Arroyito is a city in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, 113 km (70 mi) east from the provincial capital Córdoba City, and 95 km (59 mi) west from San Francisco. It has 22,726 inhabitants at the 2010 census [INDEC].

History
Early settlement
It is no clear when Arroyito was founded, but the oldest document that dates its settlement is the first census in 23 November 1778, with a population of 220 inhabitants.
Arroyito literally means little stream, or little brook. It was named after a stream now disappeared, that crossed this settlement and landed on the Xanaes river.
Grupo Arcor
Grupo Arcor, the company specialized on candies was founded on July 5, 1951, on the city of Arroyito. Now is the world largest producer of candies.
