Aoi Noguchi

Aoi Noguchi (野口 葵衣, Noguchi Aoi, born December 6, 1995) is an NHK announcer.

Education

Noguchi was born in Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. She was educated in Shoei Girls' Junior and Senior High School in Tokyo and Keio University. Her major in university was political science, and she studied at the Institute for Journalism, Media & Communication Studies (MediaCom) of Keio University.[1] Her research interests included mass media and journalism.

During college, Noguchi experienced an internship at TV-Asahi Ask Co. Ltd. She was an assistant presenter starring some TV news programs.

She received the bachelor of law degree from Keio University in March 2018, and was hired by NHK in April 2018.

Career

She started her career at NHK Yamagata Branch, and was moved to NHK Fukuoka Branch in 2021.[2][3] She has been an anchor for Fukuoka's evening news program Roku-ichi! Fukuoka since March 29, 2021.

On February 9, 2022, NHK announced that Noguchi was supposed to take over the job of assistant of NHK's weekly geological program Bura Tamori from Rika Asano in April. [4] She is the third Bura Tamori assistant who belongs to Fukuoka Branch and is a Roku-ichi! Fukuoka anchor, following Yurie Omi and Risa Hayashida.
