André Kërr

André Kërr (Portuguese pronunciation: [andɾé kér]) is a Brazilian Vedic Astrologer writer, co-founder and president of the Brazilian Academy of Vedic Astrology (ABAV).[1][2] His books are the most sold of the theme in Brazil, in his works he discussed about themes such as the Vedas, Hinduism, Christianism, Ayurveda and Vedic astrology, and also promotes the Vedic knowledge as fruit of an advanced spiritual culture.[3] He is also known for his methods using artificial intelligence together with Vedic Astrology.[4]

Early life

Kërr grew up in ABC Paulista in a low middle-class Protestant family in Brazil and has two siblings. His father was an adventist pastor and his mother was a secretary of the automobile industry. His name was chosen by his father as a homenage of the auto racing driver Michael Andretti. Kërr showed intellectual giftedness since childhood, writing and reading at 3 years and was programming software and games since he was eleven.[4] He worked later in a creative sector in electronic music festivals, where he knew about the existence of the Vedic culture, because some of them were attempts to reproduce the Holi festivals of India. He started to learn Vedic Astrology with several gurus from USA and India, and after that specialized in Ayurveda.[4]
