Career

In March 2014, Lanišek set an unofficial hill record of Bloudkova velikanka with 149 m (489 ft), achieved during the Slovenian Nordic combined national championships in Planica.[2][3]

He made his World Cup debut in Planica on 21 March 2014. Lanišek achieved his first World Cup victory on 28 November 2021 in Kuusamo, Finland.[4]
