Alicia Monson
Alicia Monson (born 13 May 1998) is an American long distance runner who primarily competes in the 5000 metres and the 10,000 metres.[2]

Monson grew up in Amery, Wisconsin.[3] While competing for the University of Wisconsin, Alicia earned Big Ten titles, All-American titles and a 2019 5,000m indoor NCAA title. Monson runs for On Athletics Club in Boulder, Colorado.[4][5]
On June 26, 2021 at the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials held in Eugene, Oregon Monson came third in the 10,000m race in a time of 31:18.55 to claim the third spot on the American team for the 10,000m at the delayed 2020 Summer Games. Such was the effort, after the medal ceremony, she collapsed and started vomiting and had to go to the hospital as a precaution, according to her coach, Dathan Ritzenhein.[6]
