Ali Nullmeyer

Alison "Ali" Nullmeyer (born 21 August 1998) is a Canadian World Cup alpine ski racer specialized in the technical events.[1]At only 18 months, Nullmeyer started skiing with her family, racing competitively at age 9.[2] Since then, she has skied with the Georgian Peaks Club in Collingwood, Ontario, and joined the Canadian Alpine Ski Team in 2015.[3] In 2016, Nullmeyer represented Canada in the Lillehammer Winter Youth Olympic Games, where she won silver in slalom.[4]

She made her World Cup debut in 2017, at St. Moritz' FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.[5] While training for the World Cup opener, Nullmeyer fell, tearing her right and left ACLs, as well as suffering from a torn left lateral meniscus.[6] After missing a season and a half, she returned to competing in January 2019.[7]

In January 2022, Nullmeyer was named to Canada's 2022 Olympic team.[8][9]
