Alexa Moreno
Alexa Citlali Moreno Medina (born 8 August 1994) is a Mexican artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 world bronze medalist on vault, the first Mexican female gymnast to medal at a world championships. She competed at the 2011 World Championships.[2] She qualified to the vault final during these championships. She finished 7th in the vault final at the 2014 World Championships.[3]

In the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart, Germany, she qualified third to the vault final and earned an individual qualification spot to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. In November 2019, Moreno won the Premio Nacional de Deportes 2019 (National Sports Prize 2019) in the "non-professional" category for her achievements.[4]
She also starred in a Toyota commercial for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in 2021, who is one of her sponsors.[5][6][7]

After her participation in the Rio Olympics, Moreno was bullied and fat-shamed in social media,[8] nevertheless, she became the second Mexican gymnast in the history of the Olympic Games to make it to the finals in the category of Vault at the Tokyo 2020 games.
