Aksdal Church
Aksdal Church (Norwegian: Aksdal kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Tysvær Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Aksdal. It is one of the two churches for the Førresfjorden parish which is part of the Haugaland prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The red, brick church was built in a long church style in 1995 using designs by the architect Stein Jarle Helgeland. The church seats about 450 people.[1][2] The church cost about 21.3 million kr to build. The church was consecrated on 27 August 1995.[3]
