Akhaura Junction railway station is a railway station of Bangladesh situated at Akhaura Upazila of Brahmanbaria District.[1]

History
In 1896, Comilla-Akhaura-Shahbajpur rail line was constructed. Akhaura railway station was constructed as one of the stations of that line. When a line from Akhaura to Tongi was constructed, Akhaura station became a junction station.
