Ajay Singh (Lakhisarai politician)

Ajay Kumar Singh is an Indian politician. He is a member of Bihar Legislative Council from Munger Lakhisarai Sheikhpura Jamui constituency from 2022 representing Rashtriya Janata Dal.[1][2][3]

Early life

Singh was born to Sadhu Sharan Singh in Pirpriya Panchayat, Lakhisarai. He belongs to Bhumihar caste.[4]

Career

Singh started his active political career without any political affiliation.[5] He fought 2010 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections from Lakhisarai without any political affiliation and 1995 Bihar Legislative Assembly election[6] from Suryagarha over Indian National Congress symbol[5] but couldn't win but secured third position with more than 16000 votes.[7] His father was a social worker in Lakhisarai.[8] He joined RJD in 2020.[2]
