Career

Since the 1980s, Frenkel has been the owner of Loyd's Group of Companies, which deals with investments in the domains of property and real estate,[1][2] civil aviation and aerospace industries, energy and hi-tech.[3]

As a representative of the main civil aviation industries[4] in Central & Eastern Europe (Boeing, Airbus, Gulfstream, Agusta), Frenkel established the Loyd's Group,[5] The company is estimated to be involved in investments of over 35 billion dollars in the last 25 years.

Philanthropy

Limmud FSU was founded in 2006, and Frenkel serves as its President.[6][7] Limmud FSU engages young Russian-Jewish adults and empowers them to take ownership of their identity and connect with their communities through pluralistic, egalitarian volunteer-driven conferences of Jewish learning and culture.[8][9]

Frenkel funded and donated the Frenkel Emergency Medical Centre (FEMC), located at the Yad Sarah Centre Jerusalem in Sep 2017.[10] FEMC includes medical imaging department, treatment rooms, laboratory and other facilities. This new emergency centre treats the milder emergency cases and those which do not require hospitalisation.[11][12]
