Zornitsa Sofia Popgancheva
Zornitsa Sofia Popgancheva (Bulgarian: Зорница София Попганчева), sometimes known as Zornitsa Sophia, is a Bulgarian artist - painter and movie director. Her film Mila from Mars was Bulgaria's submission to the 77th Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but was not accepted as a nominee.[1][2] Her another film Voevoda was screened in 2017 at the Moscow International Film Festival.[3]

Biography
Born 22.07.1972 in Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts, Sofia in 1996. In 1997 she specialized Fine Arts in School of Visual Arts, New York and Advertising and Graphic Design in American University, Washington, DC. In 2002 she specialized Film and TV Directing in NAFTA, Sofia, under the supervision of Prof. Lyudmil Staykov.[4]
