Záhorovice lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) east of Uherské Hradiště, 25 km (16 mi) south of Zlín, and 270 km (170 mi) south-east of Prague.
The river Olšava flows through the municipality. The highest peak of the municipality is Valy with an elevation of 470 metres (1,540 ft).
