World Trade Centre Kolkata

The World Trade Centre Kolkata in the Rajarhat New Town area, is an under-construction building in Greater Kolkata[1] in the Indian state of West Bengal. It will consist of twin towers. Upon completion, it will become the tallest World Trade Centre in India ever built. The location is close to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (Dumdum/Kolkata Airport) and hence it will require a mandatory clearance from the Airport Authority of India to ensure that it does not infringe the city's air route. As a matter of convention, a World Trade Centre has to be the tallest tower in a particular city.[2]
