William Byrd High School
William Byrd High School (WBHS) is a public secondary school located in Roanoke County, Virginia and is part of the Roanoke County Public Schools system. The school has many successful athletic programs as well as award-winning music, theater, forensics, and scholastic bowl programs.

Boys Basketball
The Boys Varsity Basketball team is currently coached by Brad Greenway. Last year in the 2020-2021 season, the team record was 4-6. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic they were limited to playing only Roanoke County Schools during the regular season. In the VHSL Region 3D Tournament, they beat Magna Vista High School in the first round before falling short to Northside High School in the second round.
The Boys JV Basketball team is currently coached by Pat Wolfe. Last year in the 2020-2021 season, the team record was 4-4. Their wins coming from Glenvar High School and Hidden Valley High School twice and their losses coming from Cave Spring High School and Northside High School twice.
