Volodymyr Polochaninov

Polochaninov Volodymyr (Ukrainian: Володимир Геннадійович Полочанінов; April 25, 1974) is a Ukrainian politician who is a former people's deputy.

Biography

Volodymyr Polochannov was born on April 25, 1974, in Bila Tserkva, Ukraine.

Education

In 1996, he received higher economic education at the Bila Tserkva State Agrarian University.[1]

Career

In their school years, he worked at the Bila Tserkva Canning Plant and the aircraft plant. During his studies at the university was a programmer.

After that, he occupied the position of exports, deputy director of marketing, financial director.

Now is a private entrepreneur and final beneficiary VAT “Closed non-diversified venture corporate investment fund ‘Titan’”, as well as LTD “Aqua 1” in Bila Tserkva.[2]

Political activity

In 2006, Volodymyr Polochaninov was elected as a deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council V convocation and led the permanent commission on budget and finance issues.

Since 2009, the Kyiv Regional Department of the Public Organization “Front for Change” and the Kyiv Regional Organization of the Political Party “Front for Change” was chaired.

In 2010, Volodymyr Polochaninov was the First Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv Regional State Administration. On the eve of local elections, an application for dismissal was written in response to coercion to join the Party of Regions. According to the election results in local governments, the “Front for Change” team was leading in opposition.[3]

In 2010-2012 he was a deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council VI convocation, Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the Kyiv Regional Council on Youth Policy, Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chairman of the Front Change faction. In the 2012 parliamentary elections, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was elected, non-partisan was part of the Fatherland faction.[4]

From December 25, 2012, was Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee in foreign affairs,[5] namely:[6]

  • Head of inter-parliamentary ties with Canada;
  • Co-Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Relations with the Republic of Singapore;
  • Member of the inter-parliamentary relations with the United States of America;
  • Member of the inter-parliamentary ties with Hungary;
  • Member of the Inter-Parliamentary Group with the Federal Republic of Brazil;
  • Member of the Inter-Parliamentary Group with the Federal Republic of Germany;
  • Member of the Inter-Parliamentary Relations Group with the Russian Federation;
  • A member of the inter-parliamentary relations with the state of Qatar;
  • Member of the inter-parliamentary ties with the state of Israel;
  • Member of the Inter-Parliamentary Connections with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Contributed to the publication of the book of Yevhen Chernetskyi “Bila Tserkva History: Events, Personality, Life”, and later — the rarity edition of Lavrentii Pokhylevych “Legend of the population of the Kyiv province”.

In October 2013, People's Deputies Volodymyr Polochannov and Andriy Pavelko initiated the creation of a Democrat Political Party, seeking to form a party, not a leadership type. This happened after they first expressed dissatisfaction with the elimination of the party “Front for Change”.[7][8][9][10]

In 2015, Volodymyr Polochaninov, together with like-minded people, registered a public organization "Constitutional Convention".

In 2018, taking the position of the Chairman of the Political Party “Osnova”, initiated the involvement of young people in political activity.[11]

Also, Polochaninov became a co-author of the first bill on decentralization, which provided for the reform of local self-government and the territorial organization of power in Ukraine.[12]

Personal life

He is married with two children.[13]
