Vegan Museum
The Vegan Museum (until 2018 the National Vegetarian Museum[2]) is a nonprofit travelling exhibition about veganism and vegetarianism.[3][4] It was founded in 2016 and showed its first exhibition in 2017. The exhibition tours different locations in and around Chicago.[4] As of 2020, the Vegan Museum documents the history of plant-based lifestyles.[5] The exhibition covers the history of the Chicago Vegetarian Society (established in 1890), the Pure Food Lunch Room (Chicago’s first vegetarian restaurant, established in 1900), and the Vegetarian Times, which started in Chicago.[6]
