Vadym Zhuk

Vadym Zhuk (Ukrainian: Вадим Вадимович Жук; born 15 April 1991) is a professional Ukrainian football midfielder who plays for Desna Chernihiv.[1]

Career

Zhuk is the product of the FC Knyazha Shchaslyve youth sportive school system. He played in the different clubs in the Ukrainian First League.

Desna Chernihiv

From 2012 until 2015, he played for Desna Chernihiv the main club in Chernihiv. Here he won the Ukrainian Second League in the season 2012–13, where he played 90 matches and scored 1 goal.

Hirnyk Kryvyi Rih

In 2016 he moved to Hirnyk Kryvyi Rih.[2]

Spartak Subotica

In 2016 he moved to Spartak Subotica in Serbian SuperLiga signed two years deal with the Serbian club.[3][4]

Desna Chernihiv

In 2017 he moved again for the second time to Desna Chernihiv in Ukrainian Premier League, where he played 7 games and contributed to the promotion to the Ukrainian Premier League after the season 2017–18.[5]

Poltava

In 2018 he moved to Poltava in Ukrainian Second League.[6]

Polissya Zhytomyr

In 2020 he moved to Polissya Zhytomyr in Ukrainian First League.[7]

Desna Chernihiv

On 22 July 2021 he returned to Desna Chernihiv for the third time and he signed a contract for one year.[8][9][10][11][12] On 25 July 2021, he made his debut in Ukrainian Premier League with the new club against Chornomorets Odesa at the Stadion Yuri Gagarin, replacing Oleksandr Safronov at 71 minute.[13] On 1 August 2021 he played he played against FC Mariupol replacing Yevhen Tsymbalyuk at the 46 minute.[14] On 12 September 2021 he played again, against Vorskla Poltava at the Butovsky Vorskla Stadium in Poltava.[15][16][17] On 21 September 2021 he played against Metalist Kharkiv in Ukrainian Cup in the season 2021-22.[18] On 30 October 2021 he played from the first minute against Shakhtar Donetsk in Kyiv at the NSC Olimpiyskiy.[19][20] On 11 February 2022 he was included in the team for the preparation in Turkey for the second half of the season and he played against Velež Mostar in the friendly match.[21][22][23] On 17 February he played against Torpedo Kutaisi in a friendly match.[24][25] On 20 February 2022 he played in the friendly match against Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih at the Asteria Football Center in Antalya.[26][27]
