V471 Tauri (short V471 Tau) is a variable star system in constellation Taurus. The star has a visual magnitude 9 which makes it impossible to detect it with the naked eye. Its around 155 light-years away from the Solar System.

Physical properties
The system, has at least 3 members: a white star, spectral type D2, an K-type main sequence star (K2 V) with orange colour and a brown dwarf. The system is located in the Hyades.
