The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District (UCFSD) is a school district in southeastern Chester County and western Delaware County, Pennsylvania in the United States, a 77-square-mile (200 km2) area encompassing seven townships[2] and serving a total of about 4,000 students.[3] Located in a fairly wealthy suburb of both Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE, the district's budget (primarily obtained through property taxes) is about three times larger than the Pennsylvania average, at $53,902,000; this equates to $12,877 spent by the district per student per year.[4]
