Un Kannil Neer Vazhindal (transl. If tears well up in your eyes)[1] is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Balu Mahendra.[2] It stars Rajinikanth and Madhavi, with Y. Gee. Mahendra in a prominent role. V. K. Ramasamy and Senthamarai play other pivotal roles. The film, released on 20 June 1985,[3] was an average grosser at the box office and had a theatrical run of 75 days.[4]

Plot

Ravi is a police officer. He falls in love with Padma. All goes well, until a criminal police officer Dharmaraj sets up false case against Ravi. His friend Babu also gets killed and the blame falls on Ravi which as a result he gets suspended from the job. How he comes to know of Dharmaraj’s true identity and how he tries to prove his innocence forms the rest of the story.
