Umed Ali Junejo

Umeed Ali Junejo sometimes spelled as Umaid or Umed Ali Junejo is a historical and educated and often critics as the most prosperous village in Sindh. It is located 14 kilometers to the north of Shahdadkot.[1] It had population of 850, according to the 2017 Census.

Demographics

The Village comprises rural hospital, water supply, post office, Public Library, Animal Hospital, and government primary, secondary and higher secondary schools. Railway Station Umaid Ali Junejo connects the Jacobabad from the north route then to shikarpur and shahdadkot from south side. It has a rice mill where the near side villagers came for the trade.

Incidents

After 2010 Floods

All of the villages and nearside areas have been destoryed and are occupied by the flood and it affected houses poor people who have made them as their shelter due to severe poverty.[2][1]

two siblings incident

While they were taking a bath in a pond outside their village. Two siblings drowned at Umeed Ali Junejo village while taking a bath in nearside pond named: Husnain, and Saima. Two minor siblings drown to death near in Jacobabad district. [3][4]
