Tzafririm (magazine)

Tzafririm (Hebrew: צפרירים) was a Hebrew-language magazine for teenagers and children's, published in the city of Łódź, Poland in 1919 and 1920. its headquarters were based in the Poland capital's, Warsaw.

Magazine Editors

The editor of the newspaper was Yitzhak Schweiger-Damiel, while the last three sheets of the magazine were edited by Israel Eliyahu Handelsalz.

Among the writers were Jacob Fichman, Itzhak Katzenelson, Chaim Nachman Bialik (poems and stories), Shaul Tchernichovsky and Zalman Shneour.

Sections

Tzafririm included two sections: one for teenagers and the other for children, whose contents were printed with niqqud. The paper published literature, criticism, folk tales and science.[1]
