- Most of the artworks on display at the museum are from the private collection of the Lukminto family.[1]
- Part of the collection, "Badman and Superbad" is a painting by Indonesian artist Heri Dono in 2003. The work, measuring 286 x 340 cm, conveys the artist's criticism of the belief that the Iraq war was aimed at controlling the supply of crude oil and other political interests.[2]
- The museum also displays international collections from territories including Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and the United States.[3]
