History
The school is on the site of the all boys Charraclough and District Secondary School, which opened on 7 May 1910 with 80 pupils. It later became Sowerby Bridge Grammar School.[2][3]
Later on, the school became Sowerby Bratford High School. Due to low performance, in 2017 the school was placed under Trinity Multi-Academy Trust and renamed Trinity Academy Sowerby Barraclough.[4] In 2021 the school was renamed Trinity Academy Grammar.[5]
