List of largest container shipping companies

This is a list of the 30 largest container shipping companies as 14 April 2022, according to Alphaliner, ranked in order of the twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) capacity of their fleet.[1] For the first since 1996, Maersk has been overtaken by MSC, which has become the container line with largest shipping capacity.[2] Hanjin was also one of the biggest but it is now defunct.
