Till The End Of The Moon (Chinese: 长月烬明; pinyin: Chángyuè Jìn Míng) is an upcoming Chinese television series starring Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu.[1] The series is expected to air on Youku with 40 episodes.

Synopsis

The sociopathic Tantai Jin is the second prince of the Kingdom of Zhou who is born with an evil bone that inhibits his ability to feel emotions, and is fated to become the Demon God that will wreak havoc on the world 500 years later. He was sent to the Kingdom of Xia as a hostage at a young age, and is married to noble lady Ye Xiwu in adulthood. Unbeknownst to him, Ye Xiwu's body has been taken over by Li Susu, a cultivation disciple from 500 years later. Li Susu is sent to the past to assassinate the future Demon God Tantai Jin, yet the two end up developing romantic feelings after undergoing several trials and tribulations together. After much difficulty, Li Susu manages to remove Tantai Jin’s evil bone, and successfully returns to her own world.

After Li Susu's disappearance, a grief-stricken Tantai Jin is saved by a cultivation sect, and is determined to put his demonic past behind him. However, he is unable to escape his destiny, and must decide whether he wants to sacrifice everything for the peace of the world.

    • Tantai Jin: The fated Demon God, he is destined to become the world's greatest nemesis. Born with an evil bone, he is unable to understand human emotions, and can only hide this characteristic by imitating the reactions of those around him. He later escapes back to his own kingdom and becomes the ruling emperor.
    • Cang Jiumin: Alias of Tantai Jin while he was a cultivation disciple at Carefree Sect. While there, the concepts of honesty, loyalty and friendship are taught to him by cultivation master Zhaoyou, who wished for the boy who was born evil to 'reach above the Nine Heavens' and discover his true destiny.
    • Mingye: A white dragon. He is the powerful God of War and leader of the Upper Immortal Realm, who sees it as his duty to protect the world.
  • Bai Lu as Li Susu / Ye Xiwu / Sangjiu[1]
    • Li Susu: Born an immortal, she is introduced as a disciple of Hengyang Sect. She is tasked with time travelling back 500 years to find Tantai Jin, the future Demon God, and kill him before he can wreak havoc on the cultivation world.
    • Ye Xiwu: The third daughter of General Ye of the Kingdom of Xia. Her body is overtaken by the soul of Li Susu.
    • Sangjiu: A clam princess. After using her clan's crown jewel to save an injured Mingye, she becomes his consort.

    • Master of the Carefree Sect. He takes Tantai Jin in after finding him on the banks of the Ghost Crying River, and teaches him how to be a true human being.
  • Lin Shengyi as Zanghai - Eldest disciple of Carefree Sect.
  • Li Xinglin as Zanglin - Second disciple of Carefree Sect.
  • Wang Jiamin as Zangfeng - Third disciple of Carefree Sect.

Demon World

    • A drought demon, her mission is to awaken the Demon God and ensure he can defeat the cultivators and create a new world where the demons can roam freely.
  • Wang Xizhao as Jingmie
    • A loyal adviser of the Demon God.


Production

The series began filming on November 5, 2021 and finished on March 26, 2022.[3][4]
