The 2nd ASTROAD 'Star Light'

The 2nd ASTROAD Tour "Star Light" was the first worldwide concert tour and second overall concert headlined by South Korean boy band ASTRO in support of their albums released that year including Dream Part.01, Dream Part. 2 and Rise Up. The tour began on August 01, 2018 in Nagoya known at the time as ASTROAD II and concluded on April 27, 2019 in Bangkok.

Background

On June 22, 2018, Fantagio Entertainment announced that the group would be doing a Zepp Tour in Japan known as ASTROAD II, it would be the group's second time performing in the country since the end of 1st ASTROAD; at the time the tour consisted of 6 dates in 3 cities across the country.[1]

On November 15, 2018, Fantagio officially announced the 2nd ASTROAD Tour taking place in Seoul, being the group's first concert in the country in a year and a half, being two shows at KBS Arena Hall.[2] It was also announced that this concert would be the first time that they would have solo performances by the members, in addition to the songs performed by the full group.

On January 20, 2019, the company announced the final leg of the tour containing 4 new dates in North America and 3 in Asia, being the first time that the group would perform in another continent with a solo concert.[3]

On June 13, 2019, it was announced that the official tour DVD containing footage from the concert in Seoul in December, as well as backstage footage from the tour, would be officially released the following day.
