With the Malaysia national team, He had scored 4 goals in the Olympics Qualification match in Seoul against Japan, South Korea and Taiwan that helped Malaysia to qualify for 1972 Munich Olympics.[4]

On 15 September 1974, He was a part of the team that won 3rd place bronze medal in the 1974 Asian Games.[5]
