St. John Vianney School

St. John Vianney School is a Catholic school part of the Diocese of Meerut, located approximately three kilometres (1.9 mi) from Tanda, Rampur. It was founded in 1999 with the goal of giving quality education in rural areas of Tanda. It is academically operated and registered under Gyandeep Educational Society, Meerut.[2][3]

History

The school was founded in 1999, it was previously a brick factory. Initially the school was to be operated in English, but was changed to Hindi as medium of teaching. The school later got affiliation to teach in English. In 2005, a new church was blessed by Rev. Bishop Patrick Nair of Roman Catholic Diocese Of Meerut.[4]

Academics

The High School is affiliated to CBSE Board, New Delhi and provide services according to the CBSE Board and N.C.E.R.T. [5] The main goal of school is to educate poor students and monitor their learning in different areas.[6] The medium of teaching is English. The main subjects which taught till class eight are mathematics, social science, science, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, general knowledge and Computer skills and for class nine and ten are mathematics, social science, science, Hindi, English and computer skills.
