Early life and education

Sonica was born in Dhangadhi, Kailali on 16 February 1995. She did her primary education from a government school up to class 5 from her ancestry homeland, Majhigaun, Bajhang. Her father Barkha Bahadur Rokaya is a farmer and politician of Nepali Congress.[1] Later she moved to Kathmandu and completed SLC on a scholarship from Budhanilkantha School. She completed her 10+2 from Sagarmatha College, Kathmandu in Journalism and Mass communication.[1]

Career

She worked at WOW Nepal (now Aaha TV) youtube channel in Kathmandu as a VJ before launching her YouTube channel in 2017. She worked in a music video "Chahane" produced by PdollarM in 2017.[7]
