Solve ME/CFS Initiative

The Solve ME/CFS Initiative (Solve M.E.) - formerly Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) Association of America - is an American not-for-profit association dedicated to ending myalgic encephalomyelitis and chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). Solve M.E. was founded in 1987[1][2] and changed its name in the spring of 2014.[3] Oved Amitay was named President and Chief Executive Officer on June 1, 2020.[4] He was preceded by Carol Head, who served as President from 2013-2019. Chair of the Board of Directors is John Nicols.
