Shout: The True Story of a Survivor Who Refused to be Silenced, published March 12, 2019 by Viking Books, is Laurie Halse Anderson's poetic memoir.
Reception
Shout received a multitude of positive reviews. Kirkus Reviews stated the book was "necessary for every home, school, and public library."[1] The book has received starred reviews from Kirkus,[1] and Booklist,[2] as well as the following accolades:
