Shaheed Jagannath Singh
Shaheed Jagannath Singh (27 September 1744-5 April 1790) was a great revolutionary and leader of Chuar rebellion. He was the zamindar of Maligarh, Dampara of Dhalbhum area.[1][2] He led the Chuar rebellion against the British and died. His son Baidyanath Singh and grandson Raghunath Singh also died fighting against the British.[3]
