Sebastián Benfeld Garcés

Sebastián Benfeld Garcés is a Chilean climate activist. He is an organizer for Fridays for Future Chile.[1][2]

He grew up in Valparaíso. He protested at the 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference, with Toledo Muñoz.[3] He is a proponent of the Escazú Agreement.[4][5][6] He was a panelist at the #WikiForHumanRights UN Environment Program, with David R. Boyd.[7] In 2021, he protested José Antonio Kast's refusal to agree to the Escazú Agreement.[8]
