Career
Harrison began his career with Darlington where he made 10 appearances for the club in the 2011–12 season before joining Sunderland in October 2012 after a trial.[2] He joined Bury on loan in November 2013 where he played once against York City on 29 December 2013.[3] Harrison then joined Hartlepool United on loan for the remainder of the 2013–14 season along with Sunderland teammate Connor Oliver.[4]
Harrison rejoined Hartlepool United for a second one-month loan spell on 22 August 2014.[5] He rejoined Hartlepool United on 3 January 2015 for a third loan spell, and then moved on a permanent basis on 2 February 2015.
In May 2016, Harrison was one of three players released from Hartlepool.[6] However, in August 2016, Harrison re-signed for the club again.[7] He signed a new deal at the end of the 2016–17 season.[8] After struggling for form in the 2017–18 season, Harrison left the club following the expiration of his contract in June 2018.
Harrison signed for Scottish Championship club Falkirk on 14 June 2018.[9][10]
Harrison joined National League North side Spennymoor Town on loan in January 2019. After a successful loan spell, he signed for the club permanently at the end of season. During pre-season, Harrison suffered an injury that would see him ruled out for the rest of the 2019–20 season. He departed the club by mutual consent in December 2019.[11]
